Harriett L. Stoner, 94, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, February 24, 2006 at the Altenheim Community where she resided for many years. She was born in Oaklandon, IN., was married to the late Wilbur Stoner, and resided in Dunkirk, IN and Muncie, IN, where she was a bookkeeper for car dealerships. She was active in Plymouth United Church of Christ of Dunkirk and other community groups. She is survived by her sons and ther spouses: Donald and Beatrice Stoner, Vero Beach, FL; Allen and Eileen Stoner, Hempstead, MD; Larry and Sharon Stoner, Lafayette, IN; seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother and spouse, Joe and Hariett Watson, Atlanta, GA. She was preceded in death by her sister Margaret Watson. Memorial Contributions may be made to Plymouth United Church of Christ, P.O. Box 243 Dunkirk, IN 47336 or the Altenheim Community 3525 Hanna Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46237.

    We are saddened to hear of Harriet’s death. She was a kind and gracious lady and we enjoyed being a part of her life. We have many fond memories of wonderful evening or weekend meals and card games. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

    Larry and Sharon, Jerry and I wish you happy memories of your sweet mother. We received a phone call from Dickerson’s yesterday (who are in Florida until April) and learned of your mother’s death. We are sorry we didn’t know sooner to attend the visitation.
